Cleaning the laptop

Greetings,people of edugeek,

I turned my laptop on yesterday to find that two keys(delete and plus)were not working(nothing really happened to cause that).I tried using on screen keyboard(keys were working with on screen keyboard),uninstalled and reinstalled keyboard driver and am now convinced that it a hardware issue.

 

I watched some videos on youtube on how to clean the laptop,but got confused.Some say don't use compressed air,while others say don't use vaccum cleaners(both have their own reasons).I wondering what i should do to fix the keys.Any help would be appreciated.I don't want to give my laptop to a technician.
