Can someone tell how can I find out which application is conflicting with real player as it is not working properly.

I am running of IE10 and Flash Player is 11.8. Updates are done automatically.

Thanks and regards,

What on Earth are you using Real Player for? Honestly? The civilised world pronounced that dead in the late 90's and whenever it's mentioned, it's always mentioned with "Good Riddance" after it.

When I use Real player a tab on the right hand side of the video window comes up displaying DownLoad this video and when clicked it starts downloading. Now it does not show up. I know there is a solution by accessing the realplayer website and opening the video clip through it but it does not work on any flash videos that are not in Youtube.com I like it because I download movies and from a few websites as my laptop is a secures one and cannot use torrents.

If I get VLC can I download any .flv from any websites? I had it on my machine but never downloaded any material with it.

any other applications you know of to download .flv video clips. RealPlayer was very good for them and worked on all websites.

Open the Web Inspector in Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer (press F12), click the 'Network' tab, start playing the video and then look for the URL to the .flv.

Alternatively, try the DownThemAll add-on in Firefox.
