Backup exec 2010. How does backup exec deal with deleted files

How does backup exec deal with deleted files. We are building a new server to hold our documents, we would like to restore from backup to the new server. Backup/Restore using main Backup then weekly and daily differential to restore files. Edited July 23, 2013 by JDee

Not sure how you mean 'how does it deal with deleted files'? Do you mean if you are using the previous version features of Windows?

 

If a file is deleted then I would say it wouldn't get backed up. Someone correct me if I'm wrong! If a file is deleted and needs recovering then you would refer to the most recent backup with it on. Using differentials this could mean the last full weekly backup if the file hasn't been modified in the meantime.
