Smartboard floating toolbar is.... well..... sunk

Had a call from one of our teachers today, having moved the floating toolbar for her SMARTboard, it is creating a big masked area to the left of it.

You can't click anything under it, and when you click the double arrows to 'shrink' the toolbar, the mask remains.

You can drag the toolbar around the page, but the mask does not go away either.

 

Has anyone see this before, if so how did you resolve?

This happens every time the toolbar is moved after restarts etc?

Just for one user - every time the app starts/restarts. Have tied deleting the XML files in c:\Documents and Settings\<>\Application Data\SMART Technologies\SMART Board Drivers but that doesn't cure either. Reboot as many times as you like, makes no difference.
