reconnect deleted account adfs + office 365

Are you looking to recover the mailbox? or do you mean the user account object?

I'm trying to reconnect the mailbox of a deleted user to a new account I created in AD...can't seem to figure it out. The link doesn't seem to apply to federated. I guess I'll submit a ticket to MS.
