SYNACK Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Maybe a block of c4 to get it off the ground and some kind of catching net in the rack to revive it
seawolf Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 A photo of the big beast!!! What kind of a school are you at that you'd need something like that?
cpjitservices Posted July 25, 2013 Author Posted July 25, 2013 We arnt a school, we are an ISP. Although when I worked at a nearby college we did have something similar by Nortel, served all 8 remote sites.
Soulfish Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 If you empty them of linecards, PSU and dataplanes they're normally not too bad to lift for two people. I know when I had 2 EX8208's installed we only had 2 guys to install it!
swainx Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 i know my data center and some of my former collegues have used or rented a serverlift before. the one i used was the sl-500x which can lift 500lbs. i don't know if i am late to respond back or if you already purchased a lift, but last time i checked my email at work, they were offering a promotion on their lifts to get 5% off.
