Yesterday AeroVelo, a team comprised of students and graduates of the University of Toronto, won the Igor I. Sikorsky human powered helicopter competition, with a 64 second flight. Here's the video: Not only is this the largest quadcopter ever built, it is the second largest helicopter ever flown (after the Mil V-12). There is lots of info at AeroVelo.
