From the look of this job description ("first-line maintenance"), seemingly no Network Manager within the structure etc, I'd guess this is a school with an outsourced support contract in addition to the in-house post?

Sorry this was not specified. The school has support contracts with both RM and Engage which provide training, online and telephone support.

Do they also strategically liaise with SLT around major upgrades and changes to the system?

Such a shame this isn't a full blown network manager post as I only live around the corner!

 

The school is in a lovely area though.
