Dremel Engraver vs Dremel 3000

Hi again,

 

Have just asked in another topic about stenciles but now im looking into the engraver itself.

 

Currently we have a 6w 11,000rpm engraver which works but takes a little while to get the job done in the metal cases.

 

I started looking at the basic Dremel Engraver but have just seen that homebase currently have the Dremel 3000 on offer for £15 more.

 

Would the dremel engraver be a upgrade to our old one or would it be the same?

The Dremel engraver has more power but spins slower.

 

Would the Dremel 300 be overkill?
