Every so often our desktop and start menus do not redirect.

 

Any ideas what's going on or how to troubleshoot it?

 

We are using GPO desktop redirection to a shared central folder. The kids can logon to another computer and it will work perfectly and I'm a bit lost whats going on.

 

The GPO appears to have applied fine as all the security settings are in place!

Looks like a broken windows update caused this.

at Login like this

 

regedit /s "\\Domaincontroller\scripts$\fix_folder_redirection.reg"

 

And removing the locally cached profile from users and the registry seems to fix it.

 

Microsoft I hate you sometimes!! :)
