Sheridan Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 We have a problem here with Excel 2007 reading Excel 2003 spreadsheets that have headers and footers. The headers and footers appear ok, but when you go to Insert>Headers and Footers, the ribbon changes but both the Go To Header and Go To Footer buttons are disabled, even though there is both a header and footer showing on the document! You can double click the header to edit it,but the footer is often obscured by the data so the user always used the 2003 style dialogue to change it - now there is no way to edit the footer! Am I missing something here, seems rather odd the buttons are disabled. Nothing to do with permissions etc as we admins get the same
