clarky2k3 Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Hi all, We are currently busy creating sharepoint 2013 ready for release in September (first time users!) My question is external users will have to put the DOMAIN\ before the username, we dont want this! Obviously we would publish sharepoint with tmg and use the form based auth but we cant buy it because microsoft has depreciated it!!! How will we get around this problem? Thanks
xenonive Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 (edited) I'm still using ISA 2006 if you have old server with it on and it works fine with Sharepoint 2013 and users don't require to put in Domain before their username. If you can't have ISA server then you could look at Forefront Unified Access Gateway and Forefront Identity Manager 2010 Edited August 2, 2013 by xenonive
