Admiral208 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Hi All, I want to be able to turn off all our network projectors (Epson EB-470) around the school using a scheduled task. Ive looked into PJLink but can't seem to find much info on how it works. Does anyone else use this? How can you schedule it? Is there a better way? Thanks James
ajg Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I think I'm right in thinking these projectors have network points? If so and it is practicable for you to network them than you can use the Epson software that comes bundled with it. We currently have about 20 odd projectors set up this way and the software lets you schedule start and shutdown times and also emails you when they have problems etc. you can also remotely change most of the menu settings too.
Admiral208 Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 They are all networked already. What software are you using to schedule the shutdowns? Do you have a link? What youre describing is exactly what I need. Thanks
ajg Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 As per the above post it's called EMP Monitor. You can download it from the Epson support website but seem to remember its a pain to find, or at least it used to be. 1
