My neighbour (well my mums neighbour, but she was mine for 23 years) whom is 70-ish has been learning with me about how to use computers, (I bring my laptop round, show her how to do spreadsheets, letters, skype, using the internet etc, she makes me tea, biscuits and cake - good trade), however now she would like to have a PC of her own for doing skype and emails to her family who live well over 150 miles away.

She doesn't have much money, but anything would be appreciated. I have gotten a keyboard and mouse for her from my spares, but the rest I have come up short. If anyone can donate to the cause, that would be most appreciated. Doesn't have to be powerful, anything that can run Windows XP/7 and office would be great - I will provide the software courtesy of having spare OEM free disks.

Many thanks

Which is illegal.

Are there no charities your way that do pc recycling?

OEM free is not illegal (is it), I bought XP and 7 from PC world, so they are not tied to any machine. the SN hasn't been used either since owning them, so will go to a good place.

And I have asked a couple of charities in the area, but no luck yet.
