Ben-BSH Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 If you read KB104766 on supportnet and wanted to shrink the log files for any of your databases (our Discover log was rather large) here is the batch file the supportnet article mentions, save you grabbing it from Capita, remember to edit the PW for the SA account in the file. worked a charm for us! reduced the resource load on our server loads, and the log file down to 1mb! vikpaw Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Just be warned that it alters your recovery mode to simple, so could affect your backups, and restores, if you deliberately keep it in FULL mode.
