From the UK Safer Internet Centre newsletter - June 13

Safetynet List is an email group, where educators and E-Safety staff can share best practice, ask for advice, or make users aware of useful, relevant new resources.

 

This service was managed very effectively by the DfE until recently, but they are unable to continue running the group, they asked the UK safer Internet Centre to take over and we are now the proud moderators of the list.

 

The list previously had approximately 500 members, we have already encouraged over half of these existing members to sign up to the new group, and we hope to grow on the membership over the next year, the more people contributing, the more broad a spread of experience and knowledge we can share!
