I'm not sure if this is the right section to post in, but its for an educational use.

I'm an IT Technician working at a secondary school, we run an RM network, and we are looking for a way to build a package out of Oracle VM Virtualbox, and I was wondering if anyone is aware of doing this, as I cannot find an MSI file anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dunno if you got an answer to this, but it's easy (and everytime i look at VirtualBox I wonder why anyone would use anything else, ever)

Grab the installer exe file

Run it from a command line with the flag -extract

For instance - c:\VirtualBox-4.2.16-86992-Win -extract

It'll tell you where it's extracted to and provides a common.cab file and an MSI for x86 and x64.

I've just thrown the results out to SCCM and to a couple of test stations without a hitch. If you're on CC4 that package should import easily.

Our CC4 network is currently being installed and I'm currently working out how to use VirtualBox on it in advance of our new Computing course starting in September. My question is where to put the image files to allow the students to access them from any computer in the school. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
