Installing Hodder Adaptive Reading Scales

Has anyone any advice/experience on installing Hodder Adaptive Reading Scales across their network?

I can install it using Group Policy, but I need to amend the file Network.ini

(in C:\ProgramData\Hodder Education\Adaptive Reading Scales) so that it points to a shared copy of the database on our network.

I have tried for several ways to get Group Policy to copy the Network.ini file containing the correct path to database, but without success - I have tried using the startup script facility, and using the Files option, but nothing seems to work - I get the message:-

The computer 'NetWork.ini' preference item in the 'Deploy Software Hodder Adaptive Reading Scales Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070005 Access is denied.' This error was suppressed.

 

My only solution so far is to use cygwin's cp facility
