Homeland Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Does anybody know if the ZyXEL GS1910-48HP is any good, I am on a bit of a budget as I have just ordered my Ruckus wifi bundle and need 4 switches to power them I have had a look at the link below; ZyXEL GS1910-48HP 48-Port... | GS1910-48HP-GB0101F | £450.99 | Insight UK which says they are 10\100\1000 and POE but I cant seem to find any reviews about them, has anyone seen or heard of people using them before ???
Gaz Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 That ZyXEL would be considered a low end to mid switch but it depends how big your network is and the setup and what may happen in the future. Hard to beat the price I suppose but remember its driving your infrastructure.
VeryPC_Colin_F Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 In My experiences most Zyxel network products are quite good..As Gaz said this is a decent switch depending on the size of your Network.. Col
snoerre Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 (edited) For the price it´s a bargain (because of its supported protocol features) I am using the fanless GS1910-24 (~110,-€ incl. VAT) for inroom cabling setups for e.g. PC pools/meeting rooms. Some "propaganda": http://www.zyxel.kr/support/matrix/gs1910-24hp.zip Edited June 11, 2013 by snoerre
