Still after a bit of software...or preferably someone that has an Access Database I could have a copy of pretty please.

 

I'd make one myself but 1)I haven't got the time! 2)It's been years since i've played with Access!

 

I don't wanna use Spiceworks, it's going to contain all sort of stuff not just IT.

 

I've found a few templates online but they're far too covoluted for what i need. We are just going to buy a bog standard Bar Code reader and use my Netbook to do it with.

does your school have junior librarian (or similar) if so that would probably do the job
