Standalone RPi media player

[Greenbeast]

I thought you guys might appreciate this

I've spent the last few weeks worth of evenings gradually putting it together

 

It's a standalone media player based around a Raspberry Pi and a 1Tb hard drive.

The chassis is from an old 16 port network hub and i laser cut/etched the replacement front and back panels.

 

It's got (or will have) 4 usb ports, ethernet/LAN, HDMI, scart, composite video, analog audio, power switch and standard computer/kettle lead power input.

It also has a remote control (sensor on front panel)

I'm pretty pleased with how it all turned out. Probably accomplished for <£100
