We have purchased this piece of software in our school.

 

Does anyone else have it? We are having the problem that when every user logs in they get asked for license key but once they've enter edit once it doesn't ask again. However we cannot enter it for every user as there could potentially be loads.

What type of profiles do you use? It may just be creating a reg entry that you could add to profile or setup as part of a login script so that it adds it in during the login process?

We use mandatory profiles for the students.

Either license it as your mandatory profile user and close it back up or find out where it's storing the license registration and distribute this to all users at logon.

 

The former is likely a cleaner solution but may mean more work in the short term setting it up.

If you can track the registry key entry for the license in the HKCU area, make a note of the settings in notepad. Using regedit open the NTUSER.MAN registry hive of the mandatory profile, create the key in the correct location of the hive and then disconnect from it again. That's the way I did some of ours without having to unlock the profile.
