Blu-Ray Writer

Hi Ladies and Gents

 

I am looking at buying a new blu-ray writer for my PC. My DVD Writer no longer writes CDs/DVDs and as I have a handful of bluray films, it would be nice to watch them on my PC on occassion.

 

My question is, can anyone recommend me a particular make\model of blu-ray writer. Any and all recommendations accepted and will be looked into. It is a personal purchase, and @CPLTD, @Millgate, @ICTDirect_Dave, @VeryPC_Tom_M if you could also give some recommendations (on the thread) and prices (via PM) I would be most grateful.

The LiteOn 12x Internal SATA Blu-ray Writer looks decent.

Pioneer Blu-ray writers have an excellent reputation. I would go for the BDR-207EBK since it supports the triple and quad layer BD-XL discs too.
