Screensaver Password Protect Not Working

I've set up our group policy to 'Enable Screensaver' = Enabled, 'Screensaver Timeout' = 600 and 'Password Protect Screensaver' = Enabled but I can't get it to actually do this.

 

With the above settings no screensaver applies. Well not before the monitor goes to sleep which is well after the 10 minutes the screensaver should kick in at. If I enable 'Force Specific Screensaver' the correct screensaver kicks in after ten minutes but it isn't password protected.

 

When I look at the RSOP for a teacher it looks fine, these GPOs haven't been changed on any other policy.

 

I wanted to know if there's a setting I'm missing that interfere's with setting the screensaver timeout password?

Well, I worked out what was wrong.

 

We had removed access to locking the machine and I needed to explicitly disable that in group policy to allow it to lock after the screensaver activated.
