Hotmail and Yahoo go to junk

Hi Iam running exchange 2010 on win server 2008 R2 the clients are using outlook 2010, some Teachers are reporting that emails from Hotmail and Yahoo are going into Junk.

There are no rules setup in thier outlook and none setup in exchange, we use Sophos pure message as a spam filter and the are no rules setup on this any ideas please.

Puremessage can be a bit sensitive to certain outgoing hotmail servers.

What is your agent update schedule set too? I have seen an issue in the past where this was happening but we had our puremessage on hourly updates, changing it to the fastest seem to mitigate the issue mostly but this was awhile ago.

Can you easily reproduce this?

 

If yes, disable the Sophos agent using disable-transportagent and test again.
