talksr Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Good morning, Could someone tell me, are we able to install Office 2013 with the licenses we have for 2010 or is that not allowed? Would we need to repurchase from Capita?
CAWJames Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 It depends if you have active software assurance on the licences. If not, then no, your licenses are not valid for 2013. If you do have SA on them, then the upgrade will be part of it, so fine. James 1
talksr Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Hi James, thanks for your post. How can I check if the school has SA? Is this something I could look up on e-open or would I need to get in touch with Capita?
CAWJames Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 It will be listed on your account on the MS Volume Licencing Service Center or whatever access you have to your licences online. Otherwise yes, contact the original seller for details of what was actually bought. James
Rawns Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 For info, Office 2013 is not yet supported with SIMS .net. It may work but if you have problems with running reports to 2013, don't expect help from Capita.

Well actual WS requires Access 2003 which we install separately to Office 2010.
