Google Play for education

What great news for education at this years Google IO. As soon as they mentioned we would be getting a dedicated store, that helps deploy and buy apps using a purchase order and allows teachers to recommend apps, I thought great

 

This is going to give android a big and much need plus in the education market as at the moment, I do not currently link my devices to the Play Store, which will soon hopefully change.

Definitely good news, but it looks like it is going to be US-only to start with.

Yeah, I've applied for our school to be part of the testing group and submitted my app. It also looks like only nexus 7's as well but I'm sure this will change, fast.
