Hi All,

 

Can you help me here, after having this router for 2 years I have finally got it working.

 

It is connected to my ISP (PlusNet) via a Vigor 120 and have 2 LAN's running, a 192.168.2.x (the dirty network) and 10.100.100.x which is my LAN. Got two wireless SSID's working too same as the LAN.

 

One thing I am struggling to do is open and block some ports.

 

I want to block a number of ports outbound from the dirty LAN and I then want to open up a port (RDP - 3389) from an IP on the internet (my office) to my home pc on the 10.100.100.x range. I am really struggling to do this and with the help of an open WiFi connection locally I have been trying this out but not many joys.

 

Also I need to know how to create a VPN between this router and another and also to create a VPN so when I am out and about I can VPN in when not in the office and not able to RDP.

Drayteks firewall is very complicated so good luck with that. For VPN they do have some good guides which I've used with some success.
