cpjitservices Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Hi all, wondered if you could clear this up for me, I have created a new VLAN, and have moved over some domain joined PC's over to the new VLAN. Since moving them over users can logon but then weird things happen - for example: User *A* has logged on and got to his Desktop, a login box has popped up asking for Admin credentials before that user can go any further, I input my creds just to see what happens and viola the user can use the system but Outlook wont connect to Exchange and Mapped drives arnt working. User *B* logs onto a different machine and cant even login, he gets no logon servers are available! Everything on my firewall (PfSense) is open to the new VLAN and vice versa, I can ping the entire network from the new VLAN.... so why am I having so many problems - If I move over Domain machines do I need to re-add them to the domain or do some jiggery poker on my DC ? A strange one I've never come across before! TIA.
IrritableTech Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Have you added your new vlan IP range to AD sites and services? 1
