Zourous Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Yes I know it's an old printer, but surely someone out there still has these in a windows 7 environment? I tried the universal drivers from HP and they refuse to print in colour. I've also tried the microsoft drivers and they either print black vertical lines on the image or nothing at all. The printer is attached directly to a Windows 7 PC and was working fine under XP (no, I'm not going back to XP)
plexer Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I have these printing on a Server 2008 R2 print server with Win 7 clients using the universal print driver version PCL v6 5.5.0 to be exact. Ben
Zourous Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 (edited) I tried the newest version of this driver and some publisher files were printing in B&W. Looking online, other people were saying similar things about the universal driver. Edited May 10, 2013 by Zourous
