Internet explorer does not play .mp3 files

Hi everyone

 

Your browser does not support the audio element.

 

We have the above html file which plays when the file is stored locally, but comes up with nothing just a blank page when the file is placed in a network drive with all user permissions.

 

Any ideas would be helpful
