LianneKemp Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Hi everyone I have created a tracking system in Assessment Manager using a result set (Tracking KS4) across each department, and then different Aspects depending on the data to be entered into the column (eg. Tracking Science Mark, Tracking Science Grade etc.). This was working out fine for me until Science asked for separate templates for Core/Additional/Seperate and BTEC Science. Using the Tracking KS4 Result Set is pulling through data to places it shouldnt be (eg. Seperate Science in the Core Science Marksheet). Should I be creating new Result Sets for the different Sciences (Tracking Science Core etc) or should I be creating different Aspects (Tracking Science Core Mark/Tracking Science Additional Mark etc.). Thanks!! Lianne
MattMitchell Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Most people tend to have the aspects reflect the subject and type of information (predicted grade, target, attitude grade, etc), and the result set reflect when the data is collected (2013 Summer Term 1, Y10 Autumn 2nd Half, etc). You don't strictly have to do it this way, but it's what most people are used to, and seems to make the most sense! 1
CAM Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I do the same. I have a result set for when the data was collected and a different aspect for Science Double, Science BTEC and three for the separates (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). 1
LianneKemp Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 Thanks both looks like i'll be busy creating Aspects for the next million years!
