Edwardjr Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 St Mark's Academy - Vacancies Data Officer Up to £24,000 depending upon experience Required from June 2013 We are seeking to appoint a Data Officer. Experience of working within schools, local authorities or public services will be an advantage but not necessary. The post may also suit a recently qualified graduate who would like to develop their skills, especially in IT. There will be scope for professional management training. The Data Officer will be a senior post within the support and admin team of the Academy, reporting to the School Business Director and Senior Vice Principal. The main responsibility of the Data Officer will be to ensure that data and information about student performance and any other relevant information is regularly collated and presented to a variety of audiences in a clear and appropriate manner. They will also have oversight of the schools management information system (SIMS). They will have a key role in the quality of communications both within the Academy and with the outside world, including managing and updating of the Academy’s website. Key responsibilities include: • Oversight of Assessment and Reporting • SIMS Management and Support ( with necessary training) • Management of Communications This post is an exciting opportunity to work in an increasingly successful Academy.
