Boarding House Room/Bed Booking System

Hi guys and gals,

 

What, if anything, do you use for keeping track of boarding house rooms etc.?

 

We are having bit of a shift around here and it's now necessary for other members of staff (not directly related to boarding) to see if there are flexi rooms available on given dates etc.. Example, Mrs Miggins rings reception to enquire if her daughter can board on Monday. Receptionist logs into [insert room allocation software here] and can see that there are 4 flexi rooms free on Monday. Taaa daaah.

 

Would the MRBS room booking bit software work with some tinkering? Am I better off using a simple excel spreadsheet?

Use Devizes Room Booking System and just add the boarding flexi rooms as classrooms and put the student's name as the note.
