Hi,

I've had a request for a desktop clock application that can be used in the hall during exams to display the time and ideally start & end times of the exam projected onto the big screen.

I assumed this would be a nice and easy find, but all the searching I've done has only turned up junk. Does anyone know of such a free app somewhere as I don't really want to, or have the time to write my own (too lazy for that).

Thanks.

Follow the link to this page here.

On this page go down to post #7 is and download the exam clock.zip.

In the folder there is a web file and that seem to do what you are after, all thanks should go to arthur231283 for this.

Here you go. The only thing you will need to change is the centre number

If you just want a plain HTML/CSS/JS clock, rather than a Flash one, I wrote this a couple of months back: clock.txt

Easily tweakable as it's all just plaintext HTML. Just rename the extension to .html (had to change it to upload here) and stick it on your intranet web server.

Thanks guys, that's ideal. Going to go with the the HLTM/CSS/JS one as the Exams Officer doesn't want an analogue clock. Rather depressingly she thinks too many of the students will struggle to tell the time on anything other than a digital one.

Thanks again, can always rely on the EduGeek community.
