TechSupp Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I usually put things like the shortcut to Word etc on a common desktop that gets loaded at logon but just realised that although thats fine for nearly all our PC's (32bit) we have a room with some 64bit PC's which have the 32bit version of 2010 on them and is installed by default in to the Program Files (x86) folder which will mess up my global shortcuts when loaded. Can I just reinstall Office but specifiy the normal Program Files folder so they will be able to use the same shortcut loaded as everyone else or is there a specific reason I cant and it must go in the (x86) folder instead.
TechSupp Posted April 12, 2013 Author Posted April 12, 2013 Just a quick bump on this, just in case anyone missed it, if not looks like I'll just have to try it and see.
