nothing special, something cheap and cheerful... it's only to connect to some IP Cameras - for testing reaally.

 

8-12-24 ports, 10/100. Preferably managed but not essential!!!

 

What have people got and how much ?

I've a Procurve 2650 - 48 you can have for a modest fee. Probably cost a tenner to post.

Does it need poe or are you powering the cameras separately?

 

I have some older switches you can take your pick from free just pay the postage.

Doesnt need POE nessecarily, the cams are powered from mains, they have both COAX and Ethernet but we are going to use Ethernet.

 

Yeah if you can tell me what you've got that'd be great!!

 

I do need something a bit quick sharp, ebay is ok but I want a more reliable source!
