OS X 10.8 printing on windows printer server

Hi,

 

Can someone offer advice on why when I map a printer via LPD I send a job to print and the print always pauses in the queue and never gets printed.

 

We haven't even hit the other issue yet of how we auth windows users via Print Manager Plus, this is the next stage.

 

I have the PMP client & billing auth app running at login, so that it will recognise the username as a AD user.

 

Any advice on OS X and Print Manager Plus setup would be grateful.
