Netwacky87 Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Heya, Ive been asked by my network manager to see if there is a way to find out windows key's being used on the network, and list them in say a excel document? Does anybody know a piece of software that can do this? I dont want to have to visit each machine lol! Thanks
mrtechsystems Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 From what I can gather I use a program from Visionsoft called Audit X3 and run a report on the network for Windows Product keys that have been installed in I warn you the not a free program but there might be alternative piece of software out there I am in the process of doing this myself.
Ric_ Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 OCS Inventory will do this and it's open source. It does much more besides... a quick search on edugeek will show you numerous people integrate it with GLPI to have a one-stop-shop for helpdesk and asset management.
