Does anyone know where to source a replacement PSU for an i-Desk (Low profile one?)

The one pulled from the system is a Enhance ENH-1120 200W W/PFC

Cheers

Have you tried contacting I-Desk ?

Our machines all have full 3 year warranties... but this may not be standard.

The PSUs look like a standard type, if you get in touch with whomever you get your servers from, they might be able to source the right type... if you tell them it is for a rack server.

It isn't going to be cheap.

Well we did get in touch with iDesk, they said the warranty expired in June (Unlucky!) but they would stick another year on for £50 odd quid a desk (exc VAT).

Which is probably the cheapest and safest route to go down because these PSUs seem to have gone the way of the Dodo!

At least it was just the PSU that went, a handy tip for any iDesk owners is that the PC is standard kit so a normal PSU can be attached!

The parts all seem to be standard items, we have Shuttle machines, and for the ones that are outside their warranty, and the PSUs for these aren't this cheap, but similar in size.

The HP server extended warranties are £230 (ish).

I'd be inclined to take the £50, and get the "free" PSU under warrantee...

We have had an I-Desk PSU replaced, under the warrantee, and the new one didn't fit as well as the old one.

I'll have to remember this in two years time.

Hi All, I know this is an old post, but i think it might be worth mentioning that idesk have made a modification to the PSU in that the IEC socket is rotated 180 degrees, without this, it won't line up inside the desk chassis...

Anyone that needs ANY parts for old idesks can contact me on [email protected]
