BatchFile Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 All, Does anyone use Espresso (content not coffee) and clipbank in a secondary school? is it used and is it worth it? I've been asked to look into it by the Head but I've only ever heard of it in a Primary School context. Cheers in advance!
soveryapt Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 We use it quite regularly (Espresso that is not ClipBank though), but we are a specialist school for anything from mild learning difficulties to 1-2-1 care assistance, so it gets used in a variety of ways. I think certainly for the lower ability groups you may come across in high school it might be useful, but it could also be a bit too young looking for them at the same time, depending on the group it's being used with - in which case, it could be just as bad as not having something. It might be worth requesting a demo in school so that the head can see for themselves what they think - Espresso Education - Subscription & Pricing 1
BatchFile Posted March 8, 2013 Author Posted March 8, 2013 Thanks for that, that's pretty much what I thought. It might be worth requesting a demo in school so that the head can see for themselves what they think - Espresso Education - Subscription & Pricing It's a bit more complicated than that as a group of schools are looking at buying together and negotiations are already progressing on the price; we're just trying to gauge if it's worth our while or not.
