RIS ACPI confusion

I am starting to test RIS. I have one group of machines that is the ACPI Uniprocessor type, and another group that is the ACPI Multiprocessor type.

 

Is there any way to make one image for both types of machines, maybe with a script?

Different HALs so in short no.

I create on an ACPI Uniprocessor, when deployed on a ACPI Multiprocessor the HAL is changed after first reboot and both processors show up in task manager etc. Not sure if you can go the other way without some nasty stuff happening.

 

Ah, I should say I'm going this with sysprep and Ghost, so I'm not sure what RIS would do.

Well you can manually switch the files round, that'll work too.
