pablo007 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Hi all does anyone have any advice they can share around electronic marking of students office (word, excel etc) work that clearly shows (and proves that it is happening to Ofsted etc). we currently use comments but once the student has acknowledged the changes they need to make to improve the work etc they will delete the comments and resubmit to class teacher. Short of saving copies of everything staff send to students on the email system I am out of ideas..
Ketlane Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Mark the work using comments as ever. Send the marked work as a pdf - that gives the pupil the original document without teacher notes all over it, ready for amendment, and a separate guidance document. The pdf could be saved at least temporarily in email folder or in pupil's work folder or in teacher's folder for that group. Does need a bit of thought as you go along, not automated so less foolproof than you'd want, but it does work.
pablo007 Posted March 18, 2013 Author Posted March 18, 2013 Thanks will give this a go and report back.
