[sims] Removing links form the links panel

Is it possible to remove links from the right hand panel in SIms? We want to remove a couple of links so staff can t launch from here. Maniny the behaviour link at the top as we want to force staff to use the Behaviour Management link which is at the bottom end of the the list of links.

No, and i wouldn't want them to use that, due to the risk of deleting other people's incidents!

Plus it's buried in the middle of our list. I take it you mean from a register right?

With the regular behaviour / achievement links you get the added benefit of easily applying them to multiple kids, so if you shift-select or ctrl-select some kids, you only get those two options and report card which should be all you need.

Interested to know what you want them to do specifically via that link.

We want them to do it via that link so they have the chance to use 'Action Taken' which is not available via the top link. HOH follow up behavior incidents that are not resolved and some of the issue logged by class teachers are dealt with there and then and need no follow up, but using the top option they have no way of doing this? Class teachers tend to log incidents via the register and choose the Behaviour link near the top but have no way of adding 'action taken' If they choose the Behaviour Management link half way down then they get this option.

 

Example could be that the Classroom teacher has dealt with the issue and issued a reprimand or class detention as 'action taken' this way the HOH has no need to get invloved at this stage.

I tht you could cos I'm sure on multiple kids you have to do it further down on a per student basis but I may be thinking of something else
