WithoutMotive Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Hi gang, We have a rogue SIMS user (previous employee) who is no longer marked as an employee of the school, is no longer an active SIMS user and yet is still appearing with the users who can receive SIMS messages. Therefore, their message box gets full pretty quickly. How can I get rid of this person?! Ta.
vikpaw Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Check in manage classroom staff if they are in there with a non-employee record. Or try adding that name as a member of staff, or into some area, and see if the system matches it, usually in brackets it will tell you all areas they have been used in. they might be cross linked in from another area, or you might have a duplicate.
WithoutMotive Posted February 27, 2013 Author Posted February 27, 2013 I've checked this just now and found nothing. This member of staff was a non-teaching member of staff who only needed access to SIMS Messaging. I've made sure he's not marked as an active user, I've even removed his group memberships. It's really strange.
WithoutMotive Posted February 27, 2013 Author Posted February 27, 2013 Just done both those things and got nothing back. Just discovered another full mailbox of someone who IS and employee but NOT a user of SIMS. It's a bit weird.
