Easiteach Player 3.3 GPO deployment

I originally tried to deploy Easiteach Reader 3.1, but couldn't even add this to the GPO. Apparently this was a known issue with 3.1.

So I downloaded 3.3 from RM, and this adds to the policy, but causes the clients to hang at installing managed software etc... for about an hour (as does deassignment). The clients have ISScript8 installed. Event log reports successfuly assignment, but no messages about (un)/successful installation.

I've deployed Easiteach 3.3 via GPO with no problems. Have you tried the RM support site?

Yeah, couldn't find anything relevant. I have a call logged with them.

 

Was it Easiteach or the player you deployed?

Sorry to dig up an old thread!

 

I'm currently experiencing difficulty deploying this bad boy! I have contacted Heinemann because the initial MSI wouldn't deploy. Same problem everyone had. I'm trying to deploy their GCSE Mathematics Teaching and Learning Software package.

 

They provided me with an FTP session to download the CD contents of version 3.3. I'm currently following this document to deploy:
