Analogue Line to SIP?

Has anyone ever come across a simple bit of hardware that exposes an analogue phone line as a SIP endpoint. I don't want a whole pabx server, just a box that I can plug into a standard phone line and have that line exposed as a sip extention so I can have a soft phone somewhere else ring when the analogue phones do. It is probably neich but I'm fine reflashing hardware or whatever. Personal use so would prefer cheap and it's not massively mission critical or anything but thanks to a complicated move it would be rather helpful.

I think you will either be stuck with a VoIP gateway like one of these Dialogic 1000 Analog FXO, 4 port Media Gateway (DMG1004LSW) or you will need to stick a card in your PC and effectively use that as the gateway.

 

The other option is to get a VoIP provider to deliver your line then you won't need an adapter.

Looks like the one ric_ found would work but quite expensive, thanks to the suggestions I did run across this which should do the job, just need to source one now

Apparently it has a built in mini sip server which makes things easier.
