YouTube for EDU

Good Morning,

 

I am looking into YouTube for EDU but having issues with little or no documentation. Or YouTube for schools, I cannot see how I can approve videos and make them public for my users to watch. Can someone explain how this works? I am confused.

That depends what you're trying to approve.

 

The "bog standard" video list isn't changeable, it always shows that is in the Edu section.

 

You can authorise additional videos within the settings (For things that normally won't get allowed), but those are only viewable by your "users"

We are a EDU and I want to be able to make videos and have my teachers make them available also for students to watch.

 

 

Maybe that'll help?

 

We have it working now using the iBoss Web Filter.

 

But cannot add to our "playlist" does that make since?

 

And how do I tell who signed up for this? Who is the admin for the YouTube for EDU

You need to have signed up for it. If you mean YouTube for schools. Each school has their own unique login, that allows customisation and adding of videos to your playlist.

 

If you mean YouTube for Edu you can't change that, that's completely different. That's just videos on YouTube linked to Education.

So when I add stuff to my playlist where does it showup??? I want students to be able to look at things I posted.
