Rawns Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Does anyone know if it is possible to "tether" a Wifi only iPad up to your PC using the cable and share the PC's internet connection?
mdench Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 As far as i know you can't but if you got room you could put a wifi card in the pc and bridge the LAN to wifi and make an AD-HOC (think thats the right one) network and attach the ipad to that 1
Rawns Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 Thanks, but unfortunately that's not an option.

Not as far as I know of, I was trying to do the same the other day and was rather unimpressed that it was not able to. 1
Arthur Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Could you not use the virtual WiFi feature in Windows 7 or 8 to create an ad-hoc wireless network that can be used by the iPad? netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=YOURSSID key=PASSWORD netsh wlan start hostednetwork 1
