Smart Notebook 11 reqs

Smart says the Notebook 11 should be run on CPU: Pent 4 (2.80ghz) or better?

 

Is this 100% true? I have a 2.1ghz laptop and it runs but border lines crashing if i do anything to tasking in notebook. Could I go for something dual core around 2.4 or 2.6 ghz and run anything? Also I meet all the other reqs and then some just not cpu.

Solved this on myself through trial and error. The 2.8 ghz is a tad bit over kill. I was able to run notebook 11 and other typical programs happily at 2.5 ghz on with 2 cores.

P4's clockspeed is not equiv to other clock speeds, clock speeds are pretty much worthless now

Although processor is important, RAM is key for smart notebook. I recommend 4GB min to run smart 11 ok, and without serious lag.

Ditto to that - we have just had to upgrade all of our machines to 4GB to run Notebook 11 correctly.
